PHASE 1: DISCOVER - RESEARCH
(October 2021 – January 2022)
During this phase, it is crucial that all stakeholders related to the context of the design challenge are identified and that their respective needs are considered. We focused on getting a better understanding and digging deeper into the meaning of the challenge and, as a team, establishing a common understanding of the problem domain.
PHASE 2: DEFINE - SYNTHESIS
(January 2022 – March 2022)
We developed case studies, ideas, the main analogy (living organism), and the application framework.
PHASE 3: DEVELOP - IDEATION
(March 2022 – June 2022)
We moved towards a solution mode by evaluating ways and means to solve the core issues we have deduced from the research synthesis.
PHASE 4: PROTOTYPING - TESTING
(June 2022 - November 2022)
We conducted iterative design, development, and testing, with the intention of developing tangible prototypes for the potential solutions identified during phase 3.
